Piráty moře tvoří Aleksandra Kurusova, Jānis Vaišļa a Roberto Meloni. Aleksandra Kurusova je původním povoláním tanečnice, Jānis Vaišļa je televizní a rozhlasový moderátor. Nejzajímavější z tohoto tria je bezpochyby Roberto Meloni, který je národností Ital, nyní žijící v Lotyšsku a hlavně je jedním ze členů loňských reprezentantů Lotyšska na Eurovizi a sice skupiny Bonaparti.lv. Singl „Wolves Of The Sea“ leží v rukou čtyř švédských autorů a sice Jonase Liberga, Johana Sahlena, Claese Andreassona a Torbjorna Wasseniuse.

Lotyšsko se popere o první příčky na Eurovizi v druhém semifinále 22.5.
